It’s been one of those days (or weeks or years).
Nothing feels like it is going right,
life just isn’t how you imagined it would be when you got to your age.
You’re probably feeling …
- Stressed
- Overwhelmed
- Anxious
- Lonely
- Hurt
- Frustrated
- All of the above
Don’t worry! You’re not alone, we all get those feelings from time to time…

But how do you handle it?
- Meditation
- Journaling
- Yoga
- Running
- Crafting
- Volunteering
OR
Do you tend to lean more towards a little vice to distract you from the dramas of your day?
- A glass (or bottle) of wine
- A bit of chocolate (or a whole block)
- A cigarette or two
- Netflix binge
- Online shopping
- Mindlessly scrolling social media

It’s a zero-judgement zone here,
but I know what the majority of the ladies I work with do
and it’s not usually the healthy, harmless option.
And it’s not your fault!!
Your brain is wired to sabotage you!

It gets you into this negative spiral where you have a rough day and you crave a pick me up, so you head towards your little vice…. You get your “hit” you get your pick me up but then you come crashing down. You come off your binge high and then comes the feelings of:
- Self-loathing
- Regret
- Shame
- Failure
- Worthlessness
So, what do we do? We comfort ourselves because we feel bad with those same little vices and so the cycle continues.
And then what happens???
We start to feel like crap!
You see those ‘rewards’ we ‘treat’ ourselves with when we need a little escape from reality, a little comfort from food, alcohol, smoking, shopping, social media etc. when overdone actually make us feel worse not better.
We wake up in the morning with a muzzy head, we step on the scales and see the number go in the wrong direction, we start feeling sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.
So then we start telling ourselves things like …
- I need to quit
- I know I’m sending myself into an early grave
- I need to get my s*** together
So, we have the best laid plans to do better tomorrow, or on Monday or on the first of the month or next year, but we fail over and over again.

The problem is that willpower alone isn’t enough
To break past what we call Shadow Comforts (your habits, vices or distractions)!
What you need is …
- To understand WHY you reach for these comforters
- To make a plan on how to effectively manage your habits
- To take control and make conscious choices for change
- A clear action plan that makes you feel empowered to tackle your habits
The good news is…
I have created an amazing Shadow Comforts Workshop that will help you unpack all of this and more!
During the LIVE and highly interactive workshop we will be covering:
- What shadow comforts are and how they stuck up on you in the first place
- The root cause of these shadow comforts so that we can stop sticking Band-Aids on the wounds and start actually truly healing
- How to get out of the negative cycle of turning to your vice, feeling bad about yourself for turning to your vice, so turning to your vice for comfort and REPEAT!
But in the workshop, it’s not just about learning …
It’s about taking action!
I want you to walk away with all the tools and resources to kick those habits to the curb once and for all and feel amazing about yourself every day.
That’s why …
I will be providing you with actionable strategies that you can immediately start using in your life.
Together we will create a action plan so that you can be the woman you know deep inside that you crave to be.
I will stay on the line to answer all of your questions.
PLUS, you will get a comprehensive workbook filled to the brim of information that you can reference time and time again, as well as exercises that we will complete LIVE during the workshop.
